Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department's elite urban search and rescue team, Virginia Task Force 1 (VA-TF1) was activated the Federal Emergency Management Agency at 4:00pm today. The team will be deploying a Type 1 team which is comprised of 80 members to Southern Florida to be in position ahead of Hurricane Dorian.
