NOMINATION OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS
In accord with IAFF Local 2068 Constitution and By-Laws Article 5, all members of Fairfax County Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics - IAFF Local 2068 are hereby notified that an election for the positions of President, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer will be held this Spring.
Nominations for candidates for office will be taken at the March General Membership Meeting:

Any member in good standing may be nominated for office and need not be present to be nominated.
NOMINATION OF CONVENTION DELEGATES
This is to notify the membership that nominations for Local 2068 delegates to attend the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters and International Association of Fire Fighters Conventions will take place during the General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 (B-Shift on duty) at 0800 hours via Zoom. Nominations for each convention will be separate. Once nominations are completed, nominees will be contacted to verify their interest and ability to attend the conventions. Once candidates are verified, the election committee will prepare a ballot to be mailed to membership.
In accordance with Article 7, Section 1 of Local 2068's Constitution and bylaws, the principal officers of Local 2068 attend by virtue of office. All members in good standing, including elected and appointed Executive Board members are eligible for nomination. Members elected to represent Local 2068 shall be responsible for ensuring their own shift coverage (e.g., annual leave, exchange of shift, etc.)
The VPFF 2022 Convention will be held May 24-26, 2022 in Prince William County, VA. The IAFF 56th Convention will be held August 8-12, 2022 in Ottawa, ON
